These terms are written to be readable. If anything feels unclear, contact us and we will explain it plainly.
1. The service
RoomCounter provides automated attendance counting for churches using scheduled still-photo captures and reporting tools. These terms are an agreement between your organization and Gospel Expansion Initiative, the operator of RoomCounter.
2. Accounts and roles
Your administrator controls who has access to your church's console and what each staff member can see or change. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for the activity of users you invite.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed monthly or annually. Trials are free for 30 days and do not require a credit card; paid service begins only when you choose a plan. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Camera hardware is quoted and billed separately.
4. Acceptable use
The service is designed to count attendance in your organization's own spaces. You agree to post any notice required by local law regarding cameras on your premises, to use the service only in rooms your organization controls, and not to attempt to use it to identify or track individuals.
5. Your data
Your counts, reports, and images remain yours. Our handling of that data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms. On cancellation you may export your reports, and we delete your data on request.
6. Service quality
We work hard to make counts accurate, and we surface a confidence score with every result so you always know how much to trust a number. Counts are estimates, and the service is provided "as is" without warranty of a particular accuracy level.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we will notify your administrator by email at least 30 days before it takes effect.
